Luminox Natural Light Therapy offers the healing and growth stimulating
properties of LED light without the damage and downtime associated with Laser
and IPL treatments. Lasers work by shining a very
concentrated or focused beam of light, damaging
the skin and shifting its natural repair mechanism into high gear. LED based
devices have a distinct advantage, as many different effective colors of light
can be used alone or together to deliver multiple colors or
wavelengths simultaneously over a larger area. Luminox LED Light Therapy uses red and blue lights,
though not as powerful, as a cradle covering a wider area of your face to apply
the desired wavelengths of light in a powerful enough form that will
penetrate into the skins’ deeper layers. This stimulates cell metabolism,
causing an increase in collagen and elastin production. Because Light therapy improves healing times and increases blood flow, circulation and lymph drainage, it also enhances products which must penetrate the skin.
This service is best performed in a series for clients who are willing to commit to an inclusive skin
care agreement, and have concerns about mild to severe photodamage, sun damage and hyperpigmentation, fine lines or wrinkles, and
